Hey! I'm Renee

I'm a simple girl at heart who loves capturing feel-good moments throughout all stages of life; whether you're planning a wedding, growing your family or just wanting to hold onto the good times.

To me, the best smiles are always the real ones, so working with me, the aim is always to create an easy-going photo experience to bring out the best of your personalities on camera.

Whether it's the big laughs, quiet moments or toddler chaos - I love to inspire genuine reactions + smiles creating photos that feel like you + are full of life.

My own kids (now 6 & 5) remind me how fast each stage passes, and as much as I roll my eyes at the fluffy photography cliches, they do hold some truth.

Those images of my then-toddlers in the midst of chaos with their big toothy smiles mean so much more than I realised at the time - they're now priceless memories I love revisiting.

My own family inspires my approach and you'll see I'm drawn to images which may not always be 'technically perfect', yet perfectly captures the essence of childhood magic. Photographs that are full of life, the photos you'll look back on fondly with a hint of nostalgia, reminding you of this age + stage of life.

Get to know me

I'm an observer; open-minded and forever curious - so naturally I notice the little details. You can also count on me to recall the random details like number plates + phone numbers & what colour top you wore last time we hung out. Sounds stalkerish i know!

I'm a deep thinker who LOVES pondering the bigger picture. Always down for a good deep & meaningful - whether it's life, parenting joys + chaos, AND of course any and all things 'woo woo'. Getting to know you on a deeper level is what helps me to uncover who you are at heart, capturing photos that feel natural + truly YOU.

If you wanna make me laugh - take it to the gutter. If it's a bit rude & cheeky you'll def get a laugh from me.

Family is really important to me, so naturally I'm really close with my sisters + parents. If I'm not at home there's a 90% chance I'm out and about with one of them. We live fairly close to one another on our family farm, so naturally i often joke we're the new-age gloriavale.

I'd LOVE to offer birth photography one day! I've been lucky enough to support both of my sisters during their homebirths which inspired me hugely. The energy in the room is hard to describe - so to bring it to life through photos for others would be very fulfilling!
