Those first few weeks with your baby are a blur of feedings, snuggles & soaking in those little moments + features that literally change before our eyes. Let's not forget them.
My newborn photos are designed to capture those moments in a way that feels calm and easy, so let me bring everything to you - documenting your love-soaked newborn bubble from the comfort of home.
Think your home won't photograph well? Don't worry!
I love using everyday spaces - whether it's a cozy corner of a living room or a bedroom, all we need is some good light, and I'll help you figure out the best spaces for your photos.
We'll get a mix of lifestyle images of your family together, plus older siblings, and of course those super cute natural newborn images of your baby alone on the beanbag.
Newborn sessions are best held when baby is under 2 weeks old - book in early for your estimated due date.
For older babies between 5-8 weeks old, the session leans more towards a lifestyle photoshoot.
Newborn sessions are held on weekdays Mon- Fri
*Homes located beyond Matata, Onepu, Taneatua & Ohope will incur a small travel fee*

CAN WE SAVE MONEY BY BOOKING A MATERNITY & NEWBORN SESSION?YES. When you book your newborn + maternity session together, you can save UPTO $100 (compared to if you were to book each session separately.) This is the perfect option if you're thinking ahead and want to capture both of these special moments AND snag a bargain. Terms & conditions apply to take advantage of the session discount. Contact me for more details.

WHEN IS IT BEST TO BOOK?Let's get your newborn session on the calendar sooner rather than later, preferably (before baby is here) as we want to hold the session when baby is between 7-21 days old. Newborn sessions are time sensitive and are booked in advance to be held during the week Mon-Fri - so don't leave it too late to book.

WHAT IF MY BABY IS OLDER THAN 2 WEEKS ?Babies 7-21 days old are still in that sleepy milk drunk state which means they are easier to settle and position to achieve the naturally styled images of baby wrapped on the beanbag. A newborn session is possible for older babies upto 8 weeks old, however older babies do have longer awake windows + have begun to develop a stronger startle reflex - meaning they aren't as easy to settle + position whilst keeping them asleep. If your baby is older than 4 weeks old, the session is more lifestyle based meaning we are not likely to achieve the sleepy images on the beanbag and instead focus the session around being cuddled in the arms of parents and siblings.

WE WANT MORE THAN x12 IMAGES - CAN WE GET MORE?Yes. Each package comes with 12 digital images of choice which is perfect for those who want a more traditional set of highlights from the session. If you wish, you can upgrade to a full gallery upon viewing your images. The Full Gallery Upgrade is essentially an upgraded package which includes ALL the best images from the session. You'll receive 50+images professionally edited images ready to download, print + share.

CAN WE KEEP OUR IMAGES PRIVATE?Of course! I understand not everyone wan't their faces online & I will always 100% respect your preferences. You can share your image sharing/privacy preferences with me in your session questionnaire. Allowing your photographer to share your images helps others families to visualise what is possible for their own photos. If you HAVE indicated that you're ok for me to share your images on my website and/or social media pages, please know I'm always super grateful to do so and will ALWAYS allow you to see your images FIRST. You'll be able to mark certain images as 'private' and allow me to share images you're comfortable with.

WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR IMAGES?Where possible, i love to share sneak peeks to give you a feel of what's to come and aim to deliver your gallery within 1 calendar month from your session. I'm often able to deliver sooner depending on my workload - trust me when I say I'm just as excited to send your gallery off as you are to see them. You will be able to choose your images once you receive your gallery.

DO YOU PROVIDE BABY OUTFITS + ITEMS?Yes, I have a selection of neutral baby blankets, rompers and clothing, wraps, and styling items to use during your session. You are also welcome to include your own sentimental styling in your images if you wish i.e. a family blanket, outfit etc. I bring everything with me to your session.

DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?Once we've landed on a mutually agreed date to hold your session - all that's required to book is to pay the non-refundable session deposit within 48hours. Payments are accepted by credit card or bank transfer. You'll have the flexibility to make payments at your discretion, as long as the remaining balance is paid in full 7 days before our shoot.
